Suriya joins the Mumbai bandwagon

Mumbai seems to be the new fascination for Tamil films these days. Some of the movies starring the biggest stars have been set up in Mumbai in the recent starting with the Vijay starrer Thuppakki directed by AR Murugadoss. The film was a huge success and resulted in few other movies being filmed there. Vijay himself starrer in another Mumbai centric film Thalaivaa (Anna) and more recently Ajith’s film Arrambam.

Now the latest to join this Mumbai bandwagon is actor Suriya. His newly launched film directed by Linguswamy is currently being shot in Mumbai featuring a number of local artists. The actor reportedly will be seen playing the role of a goon in the film and it is for this role he has grown beard and changed his hairstyle as well. Most of the above mentioned films shot in the backdrop of Mumbai have been success at the box office. One hopes that it proves to be a lucky charm for Suriya as well.
