Suriya’s Tamil Dubbing Vs Telugu Dubbing

It’s easy for an actor to dub in his mother tongue but not in a different language which isn’t his mother tongue. Suriya has tried it for the first time to dub in Telugu for his upcoming Sankranthi release ‘Gang’.

Do you know that Suriya took 46 days to dub for his character in ‘Gang’ while he took only eight days for the Tamil version of the movie ‘Thaana Serndha Kootam’? It’s obvious that the star has made efforts to get his dubbing right. He already told the fans to excuse if there is a bit of Tamil flavour in his Telugu dialogues.

The star hero already has good market in Telugu and trying to dub in Telugu shows how he wants to win the Telugu audiences and impress them, big time. It may take some time for the audiences to get used to his Telugu. But, in the long run, it would certainly give good results.
