After the ordeal with Vishwaroopam, another South Indian film seems to be going the same way. The film in question, Singam 2 is directed by Hari and features Surya, Anushka and Hansika prominently.
The problems arose when Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi accused the film of having scenes which display negativity towards Muslims. In this context, Vanni Arasu, the spoke person of the party, has submitted a complaint petition to the Censor Board.
It has been mentioned by him that the villains of the film Singam 2 which has Surya in the lead role has been presented as sea pirates in the film directed by Hari along with having some sequences against the religion of Islam. It is due to the nature of this issue that Arasu is bringing it to the notice of censor board.
