Producer Rahul Yadav Nakka, of Swadharm Entertainments, the man behind content-driven cult blockbusters like Masooda, Malli Raava and Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya, has officially announced his next venture, Not A Doctor. The film features Naveen Chandra in the lead role and is directed by Srikanth Nagothi. The actor-director duo previously delivered acclaimed films like Bhanumathi & Ramakrishna and Month of Madhu.
The film’s first-look poster is already creating a stir. The visual is haunting, showing a massive, soil-stained hand emerging from a forest floor, surrounded by moss and dark foliage. It suggests a story deeply rooted in mystery and perhaps a raw connection to nature. Adding to the intrigue is the tagline: “Based on a novel that was never written,” which hints at an unconventional and layered narrative.
With Swadharm Entertainment’s reputation for backing path-breaking cinema and Nagothi’s knack for nuanced storytelling, expectations are high. Naveen Chandra, known for his intense and sincere performances, seems the perfect fit for such an enigmatic premise. More details regarding the crazy project will be announced soon.
