Sye Raa All Set For Non-Baahubali 2 Record

After a smashing opening, Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Sye Raa saw the regular weekday drop on its third and fourth days. It was also expected, as Sye Raa had a mid-week release.

The fifth day as anticipated has shown a big jump in numbers. It is almost close to the second day, which was a little above 10 Cr. The numbers are excellent in the Andhra and Ceded areas, but a little less and on the lower side on Nizam.

The overall five days collections of Sye Raa are around 70 Cr in the Telugu states. It is all set to become the new first-week record (non-Baahubali 2) by the end of the sixth day itself. The current record holder is Prabhas starrer Saaho.

However, there is still a long way to go to reach the breakeven numbers for Sye Raa. The movie has been bought for high prices, and a steady run is required even after the holidays. It would be interesting to see how the film holds after the end of the extended holidays period.

Sye Raa is running to its potential only in the Telugu language. The rest of the versions have been disappointing, to say the least. We have to see how far the Telugu version alone can take regarding the final gross.
