Sye Raa Press Show in Media: Costly Mistake?

We are just a few hours away from the US Premieres of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Sye Raa. The Premieres are starting as early as 12.30 AM IST but then, the first reviews of the film will come from India itself. The team is screening a special premiere of the film to Mumbai media at 7.15 PM IST.

That will mean that the reviews will start pouring from 10.30 PM IST. However, Mega fans are not happy with this decision because Bollywood media is notorious for trying to belittle the films from the South. Mega fans have already tasted that with Ram Charan’s Bollywood debut film, Zanjeer.

The reviews and comments about Zanjeer and Ram Charan’s performance in that film is a nightmare for fans even today. If they give similar reviews, it will hugely impact the film’s performance everywhere. As much as 200 Crore is riding on the film from all the languages, the movie should collect 200 Crore Share Worldwide from all the language versions.

The team faltered a lot in the film promotions especially in the other states. Ram Charan himself produced the film on his Konidela Production Company banner. He claims to have invested over 250 Crore into film production. This has been the dream project of his father for several years.
