T Govt. finds a new way to harass AP Bizz Men!

It is known that Telangana government had decided to impose entry tax on Travelling as well as transportation of goods from Andhra Pradesh to Telangana from April 1st. This tax will be applicable to all stage carries, private vehicles and goods carriers. The government is even threatening to seize those vehicles that do not not comply with the rule.

However it is said that this move is aimed at harassing Andhra Businessmen and particularly those belonging to TDP. According to the official data, 60 per cent of goods carriers and transport vehicles enter Telangana from the Andhra region. TDP MPs like Kesineni Nani and JC Diwakar Reddy own private travels fleet. This entry tax will hit them as well as generate a lot of revenue for Telangana government through the tax.

But, at the same time, the prices of several commodities like vegetables, rice, cement etc will increase in Telangana as the burden will be passed to the end consumer. AP exports raw goods to Telangana, finished goods, machinery, turmeric and cotton is being exported to AP by Telangana
