Taapsee on Changed Dynamics of Star Value & Power

Taapsee Pannu and Parvathy Thiruvothu are two sorted out women who are popular for speaking their hearts with profound knowledge about the kind of cinema they have been involved in and the kind of cinema they want to see evolving. It was such an honour to watch them both in the latest interview to a Bollywood portal.

Taapsee spoke in detail about the change of the star value where the heroine-oriented movies are getting larger budgets when their previous movies turned out to be working well at the box-office. This changed the dynamics for her and when she was about to take a plunge as a star to expand her horizons and approve bigger budgets, the COVID pandemic striked hard.

Nevertheless, she thinks that her canvas can be expanded only if she can aim for something bigger and higher and maybe, in the term of budgets, as well. The COVID situation has given chances to female actresses and technicians big chances and she hopes that the trend would continue to theatrical releases also after the normalcy is restored and people are back to theatres to watch movies.

Parvathy Thiruvothu sees big change and how female technicians are getting more chances on OTT platforms and that’s star power according to her as a new star value system will emerge with new stars who emerged with content-oriented films.
