Young Heroine’s Face in Mirror as 60-Year-Old

Taapsee Pannu whose name is now taken with reverence as a synonym for portraying challenging roles is now playing the role of a 60-years-old woman, Chandro Tomar, one of the oldest woman sharpshooters in the world. That means, Taapsee is playing the biographical character of Chandro Tomar who is known as Shooter Dadi (Shooter grandmother).

Obviously, the young actress has to look the character’s age and hence, she has to sit through makeup that transformed her to look Chandro Tomar age. Tapsee says that it was difficult to behave the role as she is naive to the emotions of a sixty-years-old grandmother who achieved so much as a sharpshooter who won several National Championships after she became a grandmother of 15 grandchildren.

The young heroine says that she was surprised to see the transformation when she looked at herself in the mirror. Taapsee’s mother was also on the sets of the film and was amazed to see her daughter’s transformation. As an actress, Taapsee has been taking up challenging roles and hope, this one turns out to be one more feather in her cap.
