Tainted cricketer makes Bollywood debut

Cricket lovers all over the world and more so, the Indian cricket team fans would not be forgetting the name of Sreesanth so soon. This star cricketer was looked upon as one of the most promising fast bowlers to come out of India in the last decade but unfortunately spot fixing scandal in IPL put an end to his career very quickly.

Sreesanth has been in news ever since the spot fixing incident for various entertainment related activities and now that has landed the cricketer into the glam world of Bollywood. Sreesanth will be making his Bollywood debut with the film Cabaret which has Richa Chadda playing the main lead. The cricketer will be seen playing the mentor to the main lead.

Pooja Bhatt is going to direct the film which has been in pre production stage for over two years now. Lack of actress to play the lead role is the reason Pooja cites for the long delay in the launching of the film. However she says that she is happy with the delay as she has got the right cast to satisfaction only now.
