Tamannaah tries hard to ooze oomph and hotness, but she doesn’t make the same impact as Samantha in the Pushpa song Oo Antava Mama. Though initially, people called Samantha’s moves vulgar, the song caught up big time not only in Telugu but also in Hindi.
A demure and innocent-looking Samantha doing a sultry item song like Oo Antava Mama was its main USP. Whereas Tamannaah has done many songs similar to Kaavaalaa in the past, so there is no novelty.
The tune by Anirudh also is too generic. This is the second song from Anirudh after Leo’s Naa Ready song which has failed to meet the expectations.
Directed by Beast fame Nelson, Jailer is all set to release during the Independence Day weekend in August.
