Tamannah Goes Pan-India With A Risk

Gorgeous beauty Tamannah Bhatia who ruled the roost once is doing her best to stay active in the tinsel town. The actress is starting her new venture with Bollywood filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar for ‘Babli Bouncer’ which has gone on floors.

While it is always great to feature in a Hindi project because of the reach it has, is the actress taking a big risk? The filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar gave cult films like Fashion and Corporate, but down the lane, he has lost his magic.

Except for a few handful of films, the filmmaker has a poor track record in the recent past. His last film came in 2017, Indu Sarkar, a political thriller that didn’t make moolah at the box office. The filmmaker is known for artistic and offbeat films and has worked with the likes of Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra among others.

On the other side, Tamannah has done a few Hindi films like Himmatwala, Entertainment, Khamoshi, but all have disappeared without a trace. Certainly collaborating with such a filmmaker is a great opportunity for her. But given that the actress also needs a solid film to get back on track, it has to work. Babli Bouncer apart from Hindi will have a release in Telugu and Tamil. If the film works, then it will give a boost to her career, else the actress is taking a pan-India risk.
