His production house, Vishal Film Factory allegedly evaded Rs 1 crore service taxes and hence, he was sent summons by the court. After several summons over a period of time, he finally appeared before Egmore Court, today afternoon.
The details regarding the procedure and the ruling of the court are yet to be known. His production house has been actively producing films since 2013, and many upcoming movies are under production.
Besides the court case, Vishal has become the center point of several controversies with regard to Nadigar Sangam and Tamil Film Producers Council.
