Telangana govt's pathetic defense of farmer's suicide in Hyd

Telangana government is embarrassed by the suicide of Nizamabad farmer, Limbaiah in the heart of Hyderabad City and very near to the secretariat. Limbaiah’s suicide was supposed to be a wakeup call for the state government which is trying to mask the serious issue and project Bangaru Telangana is arriving fast under KCR’s rule. However Limbaiah’s death could not shake the government.

Telangana government had announced that Limbaiah did not die due to debts or agricultural problems. In fact, the government ratified that his cultivation is good and he is even lending loans to others. But the ground reality is exactly the opposite. More than half of Limbaiah’s 5 acres are dried due to failure of bore and remaining crop was lost due to lack of rains.

He took loans running in to Lakhs for agricultural and medical purposes of his son. He ended his life as he could not repay them but Telangana government made him so rich that he lent money to others. The government concluded that he committed suicide due to his own health problems and that of his son. Limbaiah’s soul if watching from heaven would be even further traumatized to see such report by the government in his own state achieved by years of agitations.
