Telangana High Court Clears Route for Lakshmi’s NTR Release

Telangana High Court has given Green Signal for the release of Ram Gopal Varma’s controversial film Lakshmi’s NTR. A person filed a lunch motion petition in Telangana High Court asking to stop the release of the film until the elections since it can pose law and order issues in Andhra Pradesh.

However High Court struck down the petition much to the relief of the makers. The movie will be placed for censor tomorrow and if it is manages to get the Censor Certification, it will see the light. The movie was earlier planned for March 22nd release but now is pushed to March 29th.

Lakshmi’s NTR is the story about NTR’s last days in his widow, Lakshmi Parvathi’s Point of View. It will have Chandrababu Naidu and Nandamuri family as the villains. It was produced by YSR Congress Leader, Rakesh Reddy. The film will have an impact on Andhra Pradesh elections if released before the elections on April 11th.
