If this materialized, Telangana RTC will be saving 30 Crore per year. This will be a baby step to save the corporation from huge losses. Telangana RTC on average uses 5.75 Lakh liters of Diesel every day.

The state corporation is also considering to do away with the Hyderabad Zone which is the main cause of the corporation losses. GHMC will be allotted this Zone and the civic body will share the losses.
