Telugu directors in Bollywood suffer due to disaster

Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK are popular Telugu original director duos who have made a name for themselves in Bollywood. They have made few very critically acclaimed films that has over a period of time gained cult following.

However their recent switch to make a big budget rom-com featuring a star like Saif Ali Khan has boomeranged at the box office. The film titled Happy Ending and starring Ileana as heroine opposite Saif was among the biggest box office bombs of the year and this result has put the director duos next project in jeopardy.

Raj & DK were to make there next with Shahid Kapoor. Titled Farzi the film was expected to begin its shooting schedule in the beginning of next year but now that has been scrapped. One isn’t sure as to when it would begin but the duo insists that the film has only been postponed and it will begin its shooting in the second half of next year. We have to wait and see who is speaking the truth hear.
