Telugu man makes 525 Crore per year!

Telugu origin Satya Nadella, the CEO of Microsoft emerged as the top paid CEO in the World with earnings of USD 84.3 million (Rs.525 crore) a year. Oracle’s Larry Ellison was topping the chart of 100 Top Most CEOs across the World last year and Satya Nadella pushed him to second rank this year.

Another Indian-origin CEO, Indra Nooyi of PepsiCo is in the 19th position in the list taking home USD 19.08 million per annum. Legendary investor Warren Buffett of Berkshire Hathaway is place at the rock bottom of the list at 100th position with a total compensation of USD 464,011 million.

This study was taken up by the The Equilar and is called ‘The Equilar 100 CEO Pay Study’. The median pay for all these 100 CEOs put together was USD 14.3 million, a rise of 5 per cent from the last year.
