Coming soon: Tenders for Amaravati

Andhra Pradesh government is gearing up to call for tenders for the construction of the capital, Amaravati in September. CRDA is entrusted the task of expediting the appointment of consultants for the mega project. The government wants to complete the tendering process by October 10th.

The consultant is expected to help the government on development of designs for infrastructure, communication, organisation, human resources, finances, architecture, social infrastructure and information technology. The government will adopt the quality-cum-cost-based selection (QCBS) process that is based on a thorough technical evaluation.

Once the tenders are finalized, CRDA will call for global tenders inviting companies with 10 or more years of experience in handling global standard buildings. The state government wants to finish the construction of the seed capital before the 2019 elections.
