Tharun’s GPS Theme Song: Playful Rap

Tharun Bhascker will next be seen in Gaayapadda Simham. Directed by debutant Kasyap Sreenivas, the film has already sparked curiosity with its traiser, and the team is now pushing the promotions further with a peculiar rap-based promotional track.

The song captures the chaotic phase in the protagonist’s life after a major political announcement in the United States triggers a wave of deportations. Suddenly thrown into uncertainty, the character navigates a string of awkward and amusing situations, which the track presents with a satirical edge.

Composer Sweekar Agasthi gives the number a trendy rap flavour, blending energetic beats with witty lyrics by Sweekar and Asura (rap). They make the song extra special with their vocals. What’s more, they also appear in the video alongside Tharun Bhascker and Vishnu Oi, making the presentation feel lively and spontaneous.

From quirky choreography to exaggerated visual gags- like a celebratory deportation cake moment, the visuals keep the mood light while poking fun at the situation. Tharun Bhascker’s deadpan expressions elevate the comedy, turning his character’s misfortune into a stream of entertaining moments.

Gaayapadda Simham is set for release in Summer 2026.
