Tharun Bhascker: So Much Of Delay For So Little!

After impressing everyone with his narrative skills in the 2016 blockbuster, Pelli Choopulu, director Tharun Bhascker took almost one year gap and announced his second project, Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi. The film was released in 2018.

There were reports that Tharun Bhascker was planning something big with Victory Venkatesh, but all the news ended up as an online buzz as the project never materialized. In the meantime, Tharun even turned into an actor and did a couple of movies.

Finally, an official announcement came out today regarding Tharun Bhascker’s third film, Keeda Cola. The film, touted as a crime comedy, is expected to go on the floors shortly. The film is expected to release in 2023.

This announcement turned out to be a disappointment for those who were expecting a big film from Tharun this time. There is talk on social media where many were surprised that he took almost five years to come up with this small concept-based comedy film.

Many were also saying that Tharun is a talented director and he should come up with something big with BIG heroes. Tharun wasted five years of his career’s prime time to develop something like Keeda Cola that might work only with a small section of the audience.
