Tharun Bhascker’s Cryptic Post on Superstar Turns Ugly

For Telugu Film Industry fans, social media is buzzing taking sides with director Tharun Bhascker and the stars who do commercial movies. It all started with the director’s post on Insta promoting a small movie ‘Kappela‘.

It’s a Malayalam movie streaming on Netflix. Instead of talking about the movie directly, Tharun indirectly hit upon the commercial format of the biggies, mocking how heroes try to portray larger than life image with illogical fights, intros and ending with social messages about farmers, soldiers etc.

The description Tharun Bhascker used was like as if he was targeting Mahesh Babu’s latest movies. He was trolled for his post and of course, there are netizens who took sides.

There was another post from the director mocking the trollers, calling them dogs that can’t bite and many more things. The fight is getting pretty nastier on social media, especially, on Twitter.

Don’t know why Tharun Bhascker went into that space. He could have just promoted the Malayalam movie explaining the worth of it.
