Among the many things that went wrong for SOS, MS Narayana’s dubbing gone wrong is palpable. Instead of using a mimicry artist’s voice like Siva Reddy’s voice for the ace comedian, Trivikram tried to used a new voice for MS’s brief role in the movie. One doesn’t know why Trivikram chose to go for a new voice instead of using mimicry voice.
During the making of the movie, there had been rumours that Trivikram had roped in Siva Reddy for MS’s dubbing but after release audiences aren’t much pleased to hear some new voice for MS. The overall impact on screen isn’t so good as it becomes tough for audiences to watch MS without his typical voice modulation. Too many characters seem to have derailed the film maker from going into the intrinsics of their characterisations.
