Today the news went viral all over that the shooting of the KGF: Chapter 3 will commence in October this year, and the makers have planned to release it in 2024. It was reported that this announcement was made by KGF producer Vijay Kiragandur who also revealed that, like Spider-Man and Dr. Strange, they have planned to introduce new characters, just like Marvel Universe.

If you remember, there were innumerable offers to SS Rajamouli to continue the Baahubali franchise and make various spinoffs on each character. But SSR politely declined all those offers and decided to make something very different in the form of RRR.

Netizens on social media are hailing Rajamouli that he is someone who knows when to stop. He is not someone who will rub something on people till they get bored of it.

Many are saying that Prashanth Neel also should explore different genres and subjects instead of cashing in on the success of KGF. They also say that even KGF Chapter 2 didn’t have much content, and the film became a hit because of the hype.

Cinephiles on social media also allege that Prashanth Neel makes films on a single template, which started with Ugramm, continued with KGF, and is now going forward with Prabhas’ Salaar.

Thankfully, there was news in the evening where Hombale films’ Karthik Gowda clarified that they would not start KGF3 anytime soon. All are mere speculations, and they will announce it if there’s some development.
