Theaters in AP and Telangana To Open By That Day

Telangana Government did not allow the cinemas to open yet. In Andhra Pradesh, the theaters themselves did not volunteer to open despite the local Governments allowing. With that, there is no clarity about the theaters in both the Telugu States.

We have reliably learned that the theaters will be opened from the 11th of December. The theaters will be opened a couple of weeks before Christmas and the movies which opted for the OTT release may be screened to bring the audience to theaters.

Sai Dharam Tej‘s Solo Brathuke So Better is likely to be released for Christmas weekend. It will be the first notable Telugu film to release in theaters after the Pandemic. The theaters will be opened in advance to the movie release so that audience can get accustomed to coming to theaters by then.

If Solo Brathuke So Better gets decent reception, Industry biggies will start lobbying with the Governments to increase the occupancy at least to 75% by Sankranthi and will try to make complete use of the festive season. Let us see what is in store for the industry in the coming days.
