Recently, the Maharashtra government has revoked the norm and allowed theaters to resume from October 22. No sooner, it saw the rush of many big-ticket Bollywood films announcing their release dates. Apart from Bollywood, some International films are also in the race.
Previously, Christmas would have been an ideal date for Pushpa to get more screens as it also saw no competition from other films. But everything has changed now. The December release seems to be a big competition to Pushpa from these films – Spider-Man: No Way Home (December 17), then The Matrix 4 (December 22), and then Bollywood film 83 is releasing on December 24.
Now, it is to be seen if the makers are going to alter their release date or will stick on to the same date.
