Thorn in Jagan’s flesh : Perfect Timing of ED attachments

Enforcement directorate had some more attachments in Jagan’s illegal assets case. The ED had attached assets worth 130 Crore of Indu Properties Ltd. Owner Shyam Prasad Reddy. In total, ED attached 3 immovable properties worth Rs 128,50,80,500 and 2 movable properties valued at Rs 1,00,82,896.

ED also announced the attachment of 8468 acres at Lepakshi Knowledge hub but these lands are already taken back by the Andhra Pradesh government. ED also attached 25 acres in Hingana in Nagpur Rural District of Maharashtra belonging to Asara Realty Ventures, a sister concern of Indu Projects; 2.57 acres in Kukatpally Housing Board; Rs 1.01 crores of Lepakshi Kno.

CBI alleges that the companies have given Jagan 70 Crores for getting these lands as a part of Quid-Pro-Quo deal during YSR’s rule in United Andhra Pradesh. These cases and attachments have become a big headache for Jagan as they are continuously hampering his political ambitions. The timing of the Enforcement Directorate will certainly come as an embarrassment for YS Jagan and his party as they will be cornered by the ruling party in the ongoing Budget session of the Assembly.
