Three unique features for Amaravathi

The Master Plan of AP’s upcoming Capital were revealed to media a short while ago. Singapore team gave a presentation to media regarding the plans of the capital construction. The interesting new points that cropped up in the presentations are – a cricket stadium, Brahmasthan Park and Motor Free Zones.

The Master Plan of AP have a Cricket Stadium which is proposed at the bank of the Krishna River. There is no cricket stadium in India so far at the bank of a river. They also announced a park called ‘Brahmasthan’ in the Seed Capital which is likely to have the names of farmers who gave up their lands to the state capital.

In order to make Amaravathi a green capital, Singapore team had proposed some Motor Free Zones to avoid pollution. They made several attempts to maintain ecological balance like giving importance to greenary, building walk ways, Cycle Zones etc.
