Times of Simple Marriages in Tollywood

We have discussed in several articles about the impact of the Coronavirus Outbreak on the Entertainment industry. Like all of us, the contagious virus is also impacting the personal lives of the film celebrities. Marriages in the households usually hit the roofs with grand ceremonies but that is not the case now.

Senior Producer Dil Raju had a simple wedding in a Temple of Nizamabad last week. Only a handful of guests mainly from both the families attended the ceremony. Probably, the fact that is a second marriage may have also prompted the producer to take the decision.

And then, another young hero, Nikhil is also going to wedlock tomorrow as per the reports. He got engaged to Dr. Pallavi Varma on February 1st this year and they were to marry last month but lockdown restrictions played a spoilsport. With no normalcy in the near future, they are getting married.

Another Young Hero, Nithin was also supposed to happen this month. His father, the Senior Distributor of Tollywood planned a destination wedding for his son. During the initial days of the outbreak, the families thought of a grand wedding in India itself. But now, nothing is possible. We are told that they have also started thinking on the lines of having a simple marriage in the nearest possible Muhurtham.

Rana Daggubati revealed his Girl Friend Miheeka Bajaj the other day. Suresh Babu in an interview revealed that the marriage may happen in December. If things return to normal by then, Rana’s wedding will be the first grand wedding in Tollywood. Suresh Babu mentioned that the family will productively use this Lockdown period to plan the marriage. But all that planning would go waste if the virus decides to go to the New year along with us.
