Tollywood Big Stars Shying Away From AP

It is an open secret that the YS Jagan government is not happy with the big stars of Telugu cinema for not basing AP for their film shoots. He irritated the industry with the ticket price issue but finally let them go when big stars met him and requested to hike the prices.

Even if all this is happening, the industry is preferring Hyderabad as its base. Some of the biggest pre-release events are being held in Hyderabad only. Films like Akhanda, Pushpa, RRR, Acharya, Bheemla Nayak, and SVP hosted their events in Hyderabad only.

It is hard to remember when was the last time when a big hero Telugu film event was held in AP. On the other hand, when some stars decided to hold their events in AP they didn’t get permission and the latest example was Pushpa whose permission to hold an event in Kakinada was rejected citing security issues.

So, not to take any risk, the big stars are holding their events in Telangana only. This has not gone well with many in the political world and also the fans in AP who want to see their favorite stars sizzle in their hometowns. Only time will tell when these so-called stars will hold events in AP and make them a huge success.
