Tollywood Taking A Gamble By Banking on Summer?

The Telugu film industry is taking baby steps towards recovery. The response of the audience for Sankranthi releases is stunning ushering in the hopes of early recovery. On the other side, biggies are still apprehensive about the 50% occupancy rule.

So most of the biggies were announced only for summer. But then, one would wonder if that is a good idea. There are reports that exams for students may be delayed this year as studies have been largely disappointing due to the online classes.

Also, there are chances of the Government curtailing the summer holidays to make up for the loss of working days this year due to the Pandemic. Telangana Government had already canceled the summer holidays for Intermediate students. So, the industry should consider this factor before taking a call.

Moreover, as of today, there are too many films coming in summer making it too crowdy.
