Tollywood Tier 2: One Consistent Here

For a while now, there has been a debate on which hero is dominating the tier 2 hero segment of Tollywood. The best scaler for the same will be the consistency in box office hits of these supposed tier 2 stars. Here is a look into the same.

In terms of consistency, Nani is above all else. His last three films Ante Sundaraniki, Dasara, and Hi Nanna have all fared well. Sundraniki wasn’t as big of a box office success as the other two but it was widely appreciated by the genre audience. The diversity is also wide here.

Vijay Deverakonda who has endless potential needs to make a comeback after Liger and Family Star. He has the film with talented Gowtam Tinnanuri which looks prospective.

Ram has Warrior and Skanda, both of which are commercial attempts but failed in box office terms. Varun Tej has the most disastrous track record with Ghani, Gandheevadari, and Operation Valentine. It is high time he delivers a box office winner.

Naga Chaitanya earlier delivered Love Story and followed it up with disasters Thank You and Custody. He too needs to change up his game and maintain a consistently positive sequence of films.

By the looks of it, Nani is clearly ahead of his counterparts not just in box office terms but also when it comes to diversity. He is leading the race with his consistency.
