Tollywood to Mollywood!

Tollywood has a history of bringing in actresses from different film industries but as the time is passing, actresses from the Telugu film industry are gradually migrating to the Malayalam film industry to showcase their talent.

The leading actresses from Tollywood, which include actresses like Kajal Aggarwal, Tamannaah, Ileana and many more, have entertained the Telugu crowd with their excellent acting and dancing skills and nowadays it’s the Malayalam audience who get to watch their performances. Judging by the number of films they have have in hand, these actresses are a lot more in demand there than in their homeland.

Swathi, a Tollywood actress who debuted with the film ‘Amen’, has also signed some Mollywood projects and says that the Malayalam film industry has films that are always new and creative even though made on a moderate budget. It’s what draws them to Mollywood, the creativity in films and not the lack of work and it’s a likable trend that can bring all the Southern states together.
