U.S. BO: Ante off to a Decent Start

Nani’s Ante Sundaraniki has gotten off to a decent start at the USA box office.

The film has collected $211,341K from its USA premieres, which is an encouraging number, considering the fact that the film released amidst rather moderate buzz. This is the second best premieres number for Nani after MCA – $303K.

The positive opening reviews and the good word of mouth on social media has played a key role in the encouraging start for Ante Sundaraniki at the USA box office.

But the thing is that the film has to come up against an uphill challenge. Hollywood biggie Top Gun Maverick and new release Jurassic World Dominion have occupied the vast majority of the screens.

Ante Sundaraniki is only getting small theaters for now, so as a result, there won’t be any major bump in the collections over the weekend. It remains to be seen how the Nani starrer will fare in the due course and whether or not it can hold the momentum in the second weekend, something that many Telugu films are failing to do.
