U.S. BO: Early Noon Premieres Going To Be The New Normal

The movie buffs of United States may watch films early noon on every Thursday going forward.

This trend has been confined only to big star films until now but may be followed for all the films with good buzz and known films in the coming days.

Recently, DJ Tillu which has created good buzz with its songs and trailer had early noon premiere. It is naturally the case with Bheemla Nayak as well. Sharwanand’s Aadavallu Meeku Joharlu is also going to have early noon Premieres this week.

The biggest advantage with early noon premiers is, if the first show talk is decent it will help boost the premier sales and walk-ins.

And then, we will have biggies like RRR, Radhe Shyam, Acharya, KGF 2, F3, etc which will anyway have Early Premieres.

But medium range films like Ghani etc will also follow the same trend. Early noon premiere in US means the shows will begin around 12 AM IST and the talk and reviews may be out by 3.30 – 4 AM.

Previously US Premieres used to be screened 5-6 AM IST and the talk and reviews used to arrive by 8-9 AM IST.
