US BO: Godfather Crosses $750K

The stakes are high on Chiranjeevi’s Godfather at the USA box office. After Acharya failed to breach the $1 million mark with two big stars, it is of quintessential importance that he delivers a million dollar film with Godfather.

Luckily for Chiru, Godfather is well on its way to hit the million mark in the USA.

Godfather has crossed the $750K mark now and in all likelihood, it will touch the desired million dollar club. This can be considered as a mini comeback of sorts after the Acharya debacle, though it’s a big number.

As we had reported earlier, the makers of Godfather went for own release in the USA, meaning there is no breakeven mark as such. The important thing here is the film touching the million mark and that is bound to happen in the next couple of days, going by the trend.

Godfather is the Telugu remake of Lucifer and it is a political thriller. The film features Chiranjeevi, Salman Khan, and others.
