Too Good to Be True Rumours for Rashmika

Rashmika Mandanna has been the centre of rumours for many things and now, this latest rumour is too good to be true. However, we hope it was true. As per the latest reports in the Bollywood portals, Rashmika was considered to play the heroine alongside Shahid Kapoor.

‘Jersey’ is being remade in Hindi and it is said that Shahid Kapoor was approached to play Nani’s role. There is no official confirmation though. Rumours surfaced that the makers wanted a new, fresh face and therefore, are considering Rashmika’s name for playing Shahid’s heroine.

Rashmika is already a part of the big film, ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ with superstar Mahesh Babu. Her last release ‘Dear Comrade’ was a disappointment. ‘Jersey’ is an emotional sports film that has universal appeal and would surely work for pan-Indian audiences, especially, after the blockbuster success of ‘Kabir Singh’.

Though Rashmika in a Bollywood biggie with Shahid Kapoor seems to be too good to be true, the same thing happened before she signed Mahesh Babu’s movie. Even Rashmika seemed not to believe that she was acting with Mahesh Babu but, was overwhelmed when she was confirmed.
