Actress Priyanka Chopra has earned herself quite a following ever since her appearance as Alex Parrish, an FBI recruit in the new show Quantico. This has been an international television debut for the actress and if trends are to go by, it might be a quite successful debut.

This can be affirmed with the fact that with barely a few episodes into the show, Priyanka Chopra has been nominated for the People’s Choice Awards’ in the category of Favourite Actress in a New TV Series for Quantico. She happened to be the first Indian actress to achieve this feat.

As for Priyanka’s feelings on hearing the news, she seems honoured and jubilant. Her tweet reads, “Wow this is such an honour! First year and a nomination! Thank you @peopleschoice what’s say people? #quantico,”

Voting will begin on November 3rd.
