Top director gifts movie story as birthday present

We often hear stories about how a particular film was made mostly after the release of the film and more often than not they end up being more interesting and entertaining than the actual film itself. For a change we hear how a film got rolling that is yet to release.

Director R Balki who has given memorable films to Amitabh Bachchan like Cheeni Kum and Paa and is currently making his new film with him, reveals how the film just happened in an unplanned manner when he was struck in traffic. R Balki was supposed to attend the birthday of the star at his house and he was on his way when he got struck in traffic and while he was struck there he thought of giving a good present to the actor. He couldn’t think of a worthwhile gift to the star that he could buy so he went empty handed and just narrated a movie story and said that this is the birthday gift.

The story that he narrated for the birthday is the film Shamitabh that is being made today. Apart from Amitabh Bachchan the film also stars Dhanush in it. Kamal Haasan’s second daughter Akshara Haasan maker her debut with this most anticipated film.
