Turning the tables for Bollywood, media personnel from Chennai create a chaos at a press conference where king Khan along with the cast of Happy New Year were attending. Journalists staged a walkout on SRK after he made them wait for nearly four hours. Angry media boycotted the promotional event and said goodbye to the baadshah.
Media were upset that Shah Rukh spent nearly four hours giving exclusive interviews to top dailies and made many journalists wait at the press conference. Although he tried his best and tried to apologize, media didn’t give a damn to King Khan. It was an awkward moment for the team of Happy New Year, who were doing a promotional event for Palam Silks.
Later in the evening, the matter had gone viral and everybody blamed SRK for always being late at events and for taking media for granted. At one point, he was mobbed by a group of journalists who explained to him why they wanted to leave the event. They were extremely unhappy because even during an event for Chennai Express, SRK came almost six hours late.
