The explanation was simple. Bollywood audiences are starving for Big Screen entertainers. That kind of movies that are rarely made in Bollywood nowadays. So, the expectations on ‘Saaho’ were heavy and even though, it didn’t reach the expectations, ‘Saaho’ managed to be a hit as North audiences watched it.
Bollywood audiences are mostly looking towards Hollywood and South movies are big entertainment and ‘Saaho’ came at the right time. If the content had been better, it would have worked wonders at Bollywood box-office.
