Traffic Police hit women with a brick for Rs 200!

A woman, Ramnjeet Kaur jumped a Red Signal with her three hungry daughters on a scooter at Zakir Hussain Marg near Delhi Golf Course. A Traffic Police man, Satish Chandra, 49, flagged her down and asked her to show her licence and vehicle registration. The lady was not carrying the documents and asked him to send a challan to her home address.

But the man insisted on Rs 200 and tried to pull her scooter’s keys from the ignition. Kaur hurriedly tried to drive away but Chandra abused her and kicked the scooter, making her lose balance and fall. The angry lady hurled a brick on the cop’s motorcycle. He immediately lost his cool and hit her waist with a brisk and abused her very bad.

He tried to hit her with another brisk but when she held on his hard, he twisted her harm. He finally let her go after the passerby came up and alarmed him about the consequences. She later complained against Chandra at Tughlaq Road police station. He was immediately suspended and then arrested. He was also dismissed from service.
