Trailer talk – Tevar: Bollywood Okkadu impresses

Tevar starring Arjun Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha is Bollywood remake of Superstar’s blockbuster Okkadu. The fact that the film is remade after a decade and still manages to excite just shows how strong Okkadu was as a commercial entertainer.

Coming to the trailer it is superb. The visuals are grand and gritty and action seems to have the fun element. The intensity present in the original seems to have taken a backseat or may be the makers have taken Ghilli, Okkadu remake in Tamil, as inspiration for this remake, which clearly had more fun in it. This Hindi remake is also releasing for Sankranthi, by the way.
