Triangular Clash – The Writing Is On The Wall

The official weekend is complete, and we are now entering into the extended holiday period. At this point, the writing is on the wall, and the fate of all the three films released on August 11 seems to be sealed.

The winner is undoubtedly Nene Raju Nene Mantri. It is the only film that is making use of the extended weekend and is looking at posting a healthy total at the end of the first week. It will also be the only film to break even everywhere during the same period. It is already a hit, and the trade is waiting to see where it will end?

The other two films are struggling to get the audience in theaters. Jaya Janaki Nayaka is slightly better, but it has too much price on it to recover and emerge as a success of any kind. LIE is a dead horse. What is interesting is that the successful film here has been a success across the board be it the two Telugu states or the US.
