Trisha all set for Kannada debut

Trisha Krishnan, who is a popular heroine in Telugu and Tamil industries, is finally making her Kannada debut with the remake of Dookudu. The original, which catapulted the career of Samantha, is likely to do the same for Trisha, who is paired opposite Puneeth Rajkumar in the film.

Apparently, Trisha was paid a bomb for the role and she instantly agreed to do the film because of the amount she was offered. She will soon start shooting for the film and complete it in one schedule while Thaman, who composed the tunes for the original, will make his Kannada debut with this remake.

The remake will be directed by Madhesh, who had already delivered hits with Puneeth. The film is expected to go on floors soon and is likely to be completed in one long schedule.
