Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha starrer ’96’, the critically acclaimed Tamil movie has completed 100days of its dream run at the box-office emerging as one of the most liked movies of 2018 in Kollywood. Throughout the movie, there isn’t a single shot showing the hero and the heroine hugging in the movie. So, at the event when one of the celebrity guests asked them to hug each other at least now, the duo obliged. Vijay Sethupathi indeed gave a romantic hug to Trisha. They played childhood sweethearts who didn’t marry each other but went to choose a different life partner.

The movie was filled with subtle expressions and sensible drama that had an emotional connection. The emotional connect is what made this drama likeable. 96 will be coming to Telugu audiences as a remake by the director of the original with Samantha and Sharwanand as the lead pair. Dil Raju is going to bankroll this movie and he has taken it up as a prestigious project who wants to make it work at any cost.
