Trolls Do Not Even Spare Virat Kohli: Junior Deverakonda

Vijay Deverakonda‘s Brother, Anand Deverakonda is trying his luck at the box office with Pushpaka Vimanam releasing on November 12th. Anand made his debut with Dorasaani which failed at the box office but he immediately redeemed himself with Middle Class Melodies, a Direct-to-OTT release on Amazon Prime Video.

In an interview, Anand Deverakonda revealed his thought process after Dorasaani failure. “We should have made it as an art film or a commercial film. We took Middle way and that is the problem I think with Dorasaani,” Anand revealed in an interaction with M9.news.

He also mentioned about the trolls that came his way. “Someone a proven legend like Virat Kohli is trolled for poor world cup performance. That’s internet for you. Who am I then? People thought I am a product of nepotism. That’s okay,” Anand Deverakonda said.

“I am not doing anything off-beat but trying to do something different. Audience are willing to watch such films as proved by MCM. There are producers and there are directors coming up. Only actors need to step up. That’s what I am doing. Pushpaka Vimanam has fun, surprise, and thrill. I am sure Audience will enjoy,” he confidently says.
