Two Big Box Office Surprises Loading This Week

Another exciting film from Monsterverse hitting theaters soon, with experts predicting a strong debut at the box office. Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire brings back the iconic giants, this time teaming up against a formidable new enemy, as teased in the trailer.

Anticipation is high for a double-digit opening, especially in India where solid pre-sales in multiplexes indicate a promising start. Even single screens are expected to draw audiences, given the popularity of both Kong and Godzilla in smaller centers.

The film has already sold 45,000 tickets in the three national chains of multiplexes.

Another film that is going to surprise the Indian box office is going to be Crew. Despite lacking major male stars, Crew is generating significant buzz with its female-led cast featuring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon. Audiences are eager to see these actresses in bold and uninhibited roles, as teased in trailers and songs.

The film has already secured over 15,000 tickets in national chains through advance bookings, with expectations to surpass 40,000 tickets by Thursday night.

With this momentum, Crew anticipates an impressive opening of 7-8 crore, surpassing even some star-studded releases from Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, and Shahid Kapoor.
