Two OTT Partners For Most Awaited 83 Movie

It is becoming increasingly common for mainstream films to have two OTT streaming partners. For instance, recent releases like Most Eligible Bachelor (Netflix and Aha), and Annaatthe (Netflix, and Sun NXT) had two digital streaming partners each.

Now, Bollywood star Ranveer Singh‘s upcoming theatrical release 83 has locked 2 OTT partners, namely Netflix and Disney+ Hotstar. The same is presented in the newly released poster of 83, which has Netflix and Disney+ Hotstar’s logos imprinted on it.

As it appears, Netflix and Disney+ Hotstar have bagged the post theatrical digital streaming rights of 83, which is one of the promising films in Indian cinema.

83, as the title suggest, is based on the Indian cricket team’s epic triumph in the 1983 men’s cricket World Cup. Ranveer plays former team India captain Kapil Dev in the film. It is slated for theatrical release on the 24th of December.
