Two Years And It Still Pains For Vijay Deverakonda

Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Dear Comrade released amid high expectations but the love drama failed to put up a good show at the box office. It didn’t receive the best of responses from majority of the audiences either.

It has been two years since Dear Comrade hit the silver screens and the film’s failure still seems to be paining Vijay. His latest post on social media clearly implies the same.

@bharatkamma @iamRashmika @justin_tunes @sujithsarang #2YearsOfDearComrade,” Vijay Deverakonda tweeted a short while back. He also shared an edited medley of a few scenes in the film.

Vijay and Rashmika extensively promoted the film ahead of its release. Vijay hoped the film would be a grand success, but that wasn’t to be. The Bharath Kamma directorial is an intense love drama and it is produced by Mythri Movie Makers.

Cut to now, Vijay is presently occupied with Liger, an action thriller directed by Puri Jagannadh. It is Vijay’s first pan-India project.
